Aviation Industry Skills Board
A collaborative working partnership
The Aviation Industry Skills Board (AISB) has a long history, formed in 2008 it is unique in that it is a fully independent board led by aviation employer organisations who with their stakeholder sector partners, are all passionate and committed to continually raising professionalism and improving business performance through the development of skills in the workforce.
Since its formation the board have worked collaboratively,
strategically responding proactively to the ever changing skills environment for the benefit of the sector.
Future plans of the AISB include the exploration to grow its membership to expand their collaborative work across the whole aviation/travel sectors.
"Our members act collectively to drive skills related activities and although we exist in a highly competitive sector, there is no doubting the value our joined up approach brings to our businesses and the sector, helping us to maximise the skills of existing talent and build a pipeline for the future"
